This is a bit different for me— but I’ve had many conversations lately about my perspective on dating. I’ve made many clients who talk about the power structures in dating, and because there’s so much on this topic I thought to share my own thoughts.

I would be lying if I said I didn’t ever have my own neurosis about “doing things right” in the courtship ritual. I do care what my potential partner thinks of me. I do feel pressure to posture or play into the “game”, but this is how I truly deep down think about empowerment, in dating, from a cis-gendered woman’s perspective.
